Scope
This statement covers markst.com (the public marketing site) and the Verus web application. Third-party content we embed or link to — for example, Companies House records or ICO pages — is not in scope.
Conformance target
We aim to conform with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. Some parts of the interface may not yet meet every success criterion — this statement tracks known gaps and how we're working on them.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML throughout — headings, landmarks, lists.
- Keyboard focus visible on all interactive elements.
- Colour contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.1 AA body-text thresholds (4.5:1 small text, 3:1 large text).
- All images carry
alttext; decorative images use empty alt per WCAG. - Responsive layout reflows at 320px and supports 200% zoom.
- Respect for
prefers-reduced-motion— no entry animations when the OS flag is set. - Self-hosted fonts (no network dependency on ad trackers or font CDNs).
Known limitations
We haven't yet completed a full third-party accessibility audit. We expect to update this statement with the findings once we have. If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please tell us using the feedback channel below — we'll treat every report as a priority issue.
Feedback
If you have trouble accessing any part of markst.com or Verus, email us at accessibility@markst.com. We aim to respond within five working days and, where possible, to provide the requested content in an alternative accessible format.
Enforcement
This statement is made under the Equality Act 2010. If you believe we have not provided reasonable adjustments, you may raise the matter with the Equality and Human Rights Commission or seek legal advice.
